An Infinite Divinity

I am the water flowing through Earth,
I am the water, an essence of birth.
I stand tall, I reach wide,
From reality I can not hide.
Everywhere you go there is a part of me,
I may be in the ground, a lake or even a tree.
But no matter where you go or what you do,
I'll be waiting, waiting to help you.
I may be fierce, I may be bold,
With violent waves, leaving the warm air cold.
Or I may be calm and quiet instead,
Providing a peaceful beach to lay your pounding head.
I can help you survive,
I can keep you alive.
I will help when I can,
Just reach out a hand.
I am the tears that fall from the sky,
When the Heaven's above begin to cry.
They cry because of fear and pain,
They cry because hatred is something humans gain.
I can swallow your suffering,
Between the screams and the murmuring,
I will always be there,
In the ground, sea or air.
If ever you are unsure, don't look back,
For I am something this world will never lack.
