Silent Screams

Do you ever wish that someone cared?
When it seems like there is no one else there.
Did you ever think that there was no where to turn,
And you hate yourself for what you have learned?
Have you ever been so confused that you don't know what to do?
And it feels like everyone is lying to you?
And then all you want is the truth, yet you fear what you will find
Because the truth just messes with your mind.
Have you ever felt as though you were screaming at the top of your lungs?
Crying and screaming for someone else to come.
But when no one comes to rescue you,
It seems like there is nothing left to do.
So you sit at home all alone.
Sitting there just staring at your phone.
Hoping that maybe someone will call,
Hoping someone will have heard your screams and come to catch your fall.
Nobody there.
Nobody cares.
No where to go.
Everyone is a foe.
Love hates you,
And you do to.
Your world is turned upside down.
There's nothing to do but frown.
Maybe if you got just a little sick,
Maybe their eyes would open and they would take their pick.
Maybe they would come; maybe they would care.
Maybe life would be a little more fair.
Sure there's risks, sure there's flaws,
But at least that way they would hear your calls.
You don't know what to do.
Fear is taking over you.
You're getting scared, you're getting weak.
You look for pain, it's what you seek.
The pain on your body you can control, pain that you can teach.
The pain inside is out of your reach.
Why do they not seem to see,
How much you long to be free?
Just as you think it's the end,
The telephone rings, it's someone with a hand to lend.
